Connecting a wallet, what Home3 can see, and managing the connection.
A wallet is how Home3 verifies that you hold HOME3, which is what unlocks Buyer and Agent tiers. It is also how credits are purchased with HOME3.
A wallet is optional. The free Scout tier works with an email account alone.
Find the wallet section in your Home3 account settings.
Select from the supported wallets and approve the connection request in your wallet app.
You will be asked to sign a message proving you control the address. This is a signature, not a transaction - it costs nothing and moves nothing.
If the connected address holds a qualifying balance, the tier activates automatically.
Home3 reads the HOME3 balance of the connected address to determine tier eligibility.
Connecting a wallet does not grant Home3 permission to transfer anything. Any transaction would require your explicit approval in your own wallet.
Home3 checks for HOME3. It does not take custody of, or control over, anything else in the wallet.
Home3 will never ask for your seed phrase, recovery phrase, or private key. Anyone who does is attempting to steal from you, regardless of what they claim to represent.
A different address can be connected at any time. Tier eligibility is then evaluated against the new address, so ensure the HOME3 balance is held there before switching.
Disconnecting removes the link between your account and the address. Any tier the balance unlocked reverts to Scout, and saved properties above the Scout limit become read-only rather than being deleted.
Because the market value of HOME3 fluctuates, tier eligibility is evaluated periodically against the published dollar thresholds - $500 for Buyer, $2,000 for Agent - rather than continuously.
If a balance falls below its threshold, the tier adjusts at the next evaluation rather than immediately.
