Documents & e-signatures

Storing, sharing, and signing transaction documents in one place.

Document storage

Documents live against the transaction they belong to rather than in a general file store. Opening a deal shows every contract, disclosure, addendum, and inspection report associated with it.

Organisation

Documents are grouped by type and ordered by date. Superseded versions remain accessible, so an amended contract does not erase the version it replaced.

Sharing

Any document can be shared with a party on the transaction. Access is scoped - a lender sees what is relevant to financing, not the full file.

▪
Scoped access

Share individual documents or a defined set, rather than granting access to the whole transaction.

▪
Access log

Who opened a shared document and when is recorded against the transaction.

▪
Revocable

Access can be withdrawn at any point.

E-signatures

Signature requests are sent from inside the workspace. Signature fields are placed on the document, recipients are set in order where signing is sequential, and the executed copy returns to the transaction automatically.

▪
Signing order

Where a document requires signatures in sequence, each party is notified when it reaches them.

▪
Status tracking

Outstanding signatures appear as a milestone on the transaction timeline.

▪
Executed copies

Completed documents file themselves against the transaction with an audit trail.

E-signature validity and requirements vary by jurisdiction and document type. Confirm that electronic execution is permitted for the document and market you are working in.

Document analysis

Contracts and disclosures can be analysed to extract key dates, obligations, and terms - which then populate the transaction timeline. Available on Buyer and Agent tiers; see Utility & tiers.
