Setting up your workspace

First-run setup, importing existing deals, inviting your team, and configuring notifications.

Creating your workspace

1
Create a professional account

Sign up at the Home3 PRO signup page. Home3 PRO runs on web and is optimised for desktop.

2
Set your business details

Brokerage, licence details, and market. These populate documents and client-facing communication.

3
Configure your market defaults

Typical contract types and standard contingency periods for your market, so generated workflows start close to correct.

4
Add your first transaction

Either create one manually or import from an existing system.

Importing existing deals

Most agents arrive mid-pipeline rather than between deals. Active transactions can be added without reconstructing their full history.

▪
Manual entry

Enter the property, parties, contract date, and current stage. Remaining milestones are generated from that point forward rather than retroactively.

▪
Bulk import

Where a structured export exists from your current system, transactions can be imported as a set.

Imported transactions generate forward-looking milestones only. Deadlines already passed are not reconstructed - review each imported deal to confirm the timeline reflects reality.

Inviting your team

Team members are invited by email and join with a role that determines what they can see and change.

▪
Agent

Full access to their own transactions; visibility of the shared pipeline where enabled.

▪
Coordinator

Access to assigned transactions for managing deadlines, documents, and communication.

▪
Admin

Workspace settings, team management, and access to all transactions.

Roles can be changed later. Removing a member revokes access without deleting the transactions they worked on.

Notification preferences

Home3 PRO generates a lot of reminders by design. Tuning them early prevents alert fatigue from setting in.

What you can configure

Which milestone types notify you, how far ahead reminders fire, whether they arrive by email or in-app, and which transactions you want to follow when working in a team.

Escalation

Milestones approaching or past their due date can escalate - notifying an admin or coordinator in addition to the assigned agent.

Templates

Recurring communication and document sets can be saved as templates during setup, so the first transaction is not also a template-building exercise. Templates can be edited as your process settles.
